Welcome to Cerro da Fontinha.
By making a reservation or using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions, which govern the relationship between Cerro da Fontinha and its guests, in accordance with Portuguese law applicable to rural tourism and local accommodation establishments.

2. Nature of Services

Cerro da Fontinha offers accommodation services and complementary leisure and wellness activities, including:

Rota Vicentina walking trails
Bicycle rides
Canoeing
Fishing
Surf and bodyboard lessons
Massages

All services are subject to availability, weather conditions, and prior confirmation at the time of booking.

3. Reservations and Payments

Reservations can be made through our website, by e-mail, or by phone.To confirm the reservation, a deposit or partial/full payment of the total amount may be required.
Payments can be made using the available methods indicated during the booking process.
Cerro da Fontinha reserves the right to cancel reservations that are not confirmed within the established deadlines.

4. Deadlines and Conditions of Service Provision

Service Confirmation
A reservation is considered confirmed once the guest receives an e-mail confirmation including check-in and check-out dates, type of accommodation, and any additional booked services.

Service Timelines
Accommodation is provided on the dates confirmed at the time of booking.
Activities and complementary services are provided on the dates and times agreed upon, subject to availability and suitable weather conditions.
Cerro da Fontinha reserves the right to change or cancel activities for safety or force majeure reasons, offering alternatives, rescheduling, or a proportional refund.

Service Locations and Recipients
Accommodation services are provided at the Cerro da Fontinha property in São Teotónio.
Some activities, such as surf, bodyboard lessons, and massages, may be carried out by qualified external partners, subject to their own terms and conditions.

Delays, Impossibility, and Force Majeure
In case of unforeseen circumstances (such as adverse weather, strikes, legal restrictions, or other events beyond our control), Cerro da Fontinha will inform the guest as soon as possible, offering alternative solutions, rescheduling, or a proportional refund.

5. Check-in e Check-out

Check-in: from 4:00 PM
Check-out: até às 12:00 AM
Late check-ins or early departures must be communicated in advance.
Staying beyond the check-out time may result in additional charges.

6. Cancellation Policy and Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Article 17(1)(l) of Decree-Law No. 24/2014 of February 14,

Cerro da Fontinha allows free cancellation up to 14 days before the arrival date.
After this period, a cancellation fee of 50% of the total reservation amount may be charged.

In case of no-show, the cancellation policy defined in the reservation will apply.

In duly justified cases of force majeure, Cerro da Fontinha will evaluate the possibility of offering credit or rescheduling.

7. Liability

Cerro da Fontinha is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings inside the premises.
Leisure activities may involve inherent risks; guests must follow all safety instructions provided by our staff or partners.
Guests are responsible for any damages caused to the property during their stay.

8. Guest Conduct

Smoking is not permitted inside the accommodation units.
Guests must respect the peace and comfort of other guests and the surrounding environment.
Failure to comply with these rules may result in termination of the stay without refund.

9. Data Protection

Cerro da Fontinha complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Personal data collected is used solely for reservation management, communication, and legal obligations.
Guests may exercise their rights of access, rectification, or deletion of personal data by contacting info@cerrodafontinha.com.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Portuguese Law.
Any disputes shall be submitted to the Courts of Odemira, with express waiver of any other jurisdiction.
